How to Store Professional Skincare During Summer in Israel

Heat and light are the main risks

Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, windows and heat-producing appliances. A bathroom shelf may be humid, while a car or beach bag can overheat quickly. Keep lids closed and avoid touching droppers to the skin.

Follow the label first: some formulas have specific temperature requirements. A refrigerator is not automatically safer and can damage texture or stability if cold storage is not recommended.

Products that need extra attention

Vitamin C, retinoids and other light-sensitive actives benefit from opaque, well-closed packaging and stable room conditions. Sunscreen should not be left in a hot car or direct sun; replace it if the packaging changes, separates unusually or passes its expiry or period-after-opening limit.

Pumps and tubes usually reduce air and finger contact compared with open jars.

Travel and delivery

During travel, use a shaded insulated pouch without direct contact with ice. After delivery on a very hot day, bring the parcel indoors promptly and inspect packaging. When appearance, smell or texture has changed unexpectedly, pause use and ask the retailer or manufacturer.
